A prominent law firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney to join their team in Denver, CO. Location:
Denver, CO Responsibilities: Develop and implement case strategies to effectively represent clients. Meet with clients, investigate their histories, and collaborate with senior attorneys. Represent clients before the EOIR in cases involving victims, families, and asylum seekers. Advocate before the BIA and Circuit Courts on legal issues. Prepare persuasive briefs for client applications. Supervise and guide paralegals in case strategies. Prepare clients for interviews, hearings, and appointments. Participate in legal and advocacy conferences, and lead CLE and internal presentations. Requirements: Conversational Spanish skills (training provided if needed). Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and clients. Strong commitment to civil rights and liberties. Capability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with marginalized or vulnerable communities. Cultural competence and sensitivity. A sense of humor is highly valued. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Valid Bar license to practice law in any U.S. state. Skills: Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills. Experience in immigration law. Strong communication skills with diverse populations. Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines. Creative problem-solving and attention to detail.
