We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Immigration Attorney
to join our legal team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. immigration law, excellent client advocacy skills, and the ability to manage a diverse caseload. This role involves representing clients in various immigration matters, including family-based petitions, employment-based visas, deportation defense, asylum applications, and citizenship proceedings. Key Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel and representation for individuals and businesses in immigration-related cases. Prepare and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation for visas, green cards, naturalization, and other immigration benefits. Represent clients in hearings before immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and other administrative bodies. Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in immigration laws, policies, and procedures. Work with clients to gather necessary evidence and documentation for case submissions. Advise clients on compliance with immigration regulations and employment eligibility. Collaborate with paralegals, case managers, and other team members to ensure timely case processing. Handle appeals and waivers as needed. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.)
degree from an accredited law school. Active membership
in good standing with the Florida Bar. 2+ years
of experience practicing immigration law preferred. Strong understanding of U.S. immigration laws, including family-based and employment-based petitions, removal defense, and humanitarian relief. Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred due to Miami’s diverse population. Ability to manage multiple cases and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
