Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to join our team at Central Vermont Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery RN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to women and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and have a strong background in labor and delivery nursing, we encourage you to apply.

Required Skills

Prior travel experience in labor and delivery

Current BLS, NRP certifications

ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE certifications preferred

At least 1 year of labor and delivery experience 1 year of LDRP experience

Epic experience from within the past 2 years (non-negotiable) Experience as a baby nurse, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery

Nice to Have Skills

IVS experience

Experience with electronic fetal monitoring and smart pumps

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Nursing 1 year of clinical experience in labor and delivery or LDRP

Other Requirements

Reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental vehicle recommended) Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must have completed all employment gaps over 90 days
