Job Details Description Assistant Manager-AHRC Massapequa location Sun 7-3p, Mon 7-3p, Tue-Thurs 3-11p 40 hrs per week The pay scale for this position is $16.00-$16.50 in consideration of education and/or experience. AHRC Nassau operates the largest residential program on Long Island. With over 100 supervised and supportive settings, each home reflects the interests of its residents. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Valid NYS Driver's License One (1) year experience supporting people with developmental disabilities AMAP certified required Good verbal and written communication skills as well as good organizational and administrative skills required. Primary duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working closely with the Manager to ensure ongoing support is provided to individuals, fostering an environment that promotes active participation in self-care, health, safety, household chores, socialization, and overall well-being, maintaining a high quality of life. Assisting the Manager with supervision and training of Direct Support Professionals to ensure support is effective. Assisting with training of new employees to ensure adequate staffing with qualified personnel. Maintaining weekly work schedules for staff based on availability and resident needs. Keeping records related to staff attendance, performance, and training needs. Verifying that treatment plan documentation is complete daily. Seniority level
