JOB SUMMARY Helium Business Analyst
Provide support for the proper management of the NST/MTG container fleet. Support Global Helium sales activities and data tracking. Analyze distribution and sourcing costs. Assist with the monthly P&L and reporting processes. Essential Functions
Manage Nippon Sanso/Matheson container fleet:
Access data from logistics teams, forwarders, and DOL to improve container utilization modeling and planning. Detect changes in customer demand and supply chain logistics affecting container availability. Provide forward-looking analysis on helium container availability. Support Global Helium sales activities:
Communicate price adjustments with customers. Notify customers about export regulations. Manage inquiries and complaints regarding invoices. Serve as the customer liaison for invoices. Analyze distribution and sourcing costs:
Track transport costs. Lead projects to improve transport efficiency. Support analysis of fees and costs from various helium sources. Support monthly P&L and reporting:
Verify source invoices and data. Collaborate with the Financial Group for accurate sales reports. Provide data for P&L review. Other duties:
Perform assigned tasks, comply with policies and standards. Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's Degree preferred; previous international shipping experience beneficial but not required. Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years in logistics within the import/export transportation industry (land, sea, air), including scheduling and load building. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and analytical skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Availability for Monday to Friday, 10-hour shifts, with after-hours email monitoring and conference calls as needed. Licenses and Certifications
Preferred: IATA and IMDG certifications. Training and recertification provided if necessary. Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Includes occasional stationary and movement tasks, frequent seated work, and light lifting (5-10 lbs). Constant communication and repetitive motions required. Travel Requirements
Approximately 10% travel, including possible trips to NJ office. Note:
