Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is required. Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship. A DC 1st Class Engineering License is mandatory. Responsibilities
Maintenance and Operation:
Safely operate, maintain, and monitor boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, and stationary equipment, including chillers, boilers, pumps, control systems, air handlers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, VAVs, and VFDs. Demonstrate knowledge of chiller plant operations, blueprint reading, and building air systems. Respond to service calls for gas-fired boilers, chillers, AHUs, fire pumps, generators, UPS, BAS, and fire alarm systems. Routine Inspections:
Conduct inspections to identify issues, ensure compliance with safety standards, and document findings using the site CMMS system. Troubleshooting:
Diagnose system malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement solutions. Documentation & Compliance:
Keep detailed records of inspections, maintenance, repairs, and ensure adherence to regulations. Collaboration & Emergency Response:
Coordinate with teams and act as first responder during emergencies, implementing safety procedures. Continuous Learning:
Stay updated with industry trends, attend workshops, and training. Qualifications
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or GED. Active TS/SCI Poly clearance required. DC 1st Class Engineering License required. Candidate Expectations
Experience with boilers, HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to interpret technical documentation and understand building mechanical and electrical systems. Benefits
