Traveling Network Technician
Our government customer is looking for Traveling Network Technicians for a 10-12 month project that is slated to go through 2025. The project will be swapping out different networking equipment, including: Cisco Routers + Switches, firewalls, Wireless Access Points (WAPs), etc. This project will be supporting the newly built DoDNET and helping get the agencies ready to migrate prepared for that migration by upgrading outdated equipment across the world. Travel will be mostly CONUS but there is a chance there will be some OCONUS travel. This is a high visibility project for Leidos and is imperative to the success of the program + mission. The right candidate will have experience with: Decommissioning + configuring + troubleshooting routers, switches, firewalls Racking + stacking servers Good oral + written communications skills SECRET CLEARANCE and Security+ REQUIRED CCNA is a nice to have Additional Skills & Qualifications: This is a role where you will be traveling 80-90% of the time, as there are 250-300 sites that 10 teams will have to get to across the country and some sites that sit overseas. An active passport would be a very big nice to have. There also has to be some comfortability with being away from home during the work week for a good portion of the year. Group ID: 10105424
