Bring your passion for oncology and patient care to the outpatient infusion center at Dignity Health Cancer Institute at St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center. As a pharmacy technician you will be part of a growing program on the forefront of cancer treatment. We are looking for someone that is a great communicator, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to problem solve through critical thinking. Pharmacy technicians work under the supervision of a pharmacist. They perform drug distribution activities including: servicing Omnicell machines and delivering medications to the clinics and infusion suite. They also perform sterile and non-sterile compounding of medications, including hazardous drugs, following USP

. Pharmacy technicians will be cross-trained to work in the areas of outpatient infusion, retail, and research. High school diploma or GED equivalent Two years of IV room compounding experience including hazardous medications or completion of appropriate training program Registered Pharmacy Technician in State of Arizona Experience with handling and dispensing of parenteral chemotherapy Experience with investigational protocols and medications Located conveniently in the heart of Phoenix, Arizona, St. Josephs Hospital and Medical Center is a 571-bed, not-for-profit hospital that provides a wide range of health, social, and support services.
