Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic
Primarily will be a Field Mechanic and will be traveling throughout the San Francisco/Oakland service area. There will be a mix of electrical & mechanical installs and repairs. Ability to conduct install and repairs for GPS, back-up cameras, new technologies, repairs on all their equipment (bulldozers, excavators, skid steers, cranes, scissor lifts, etc). Hard Skills Troubleshooting Installing electronic equipment Electrical and mechanical repairs Preventative maintenance Inspections Requirements Must have a minimum of one year 12-volt electronic, automotive, mechanical and/or technical work experience or related schooling, to include a basic understanding of installation services and basic troubleshooting skills. Must have basic IoT and Technology troubleshooting skills. Must have basic electrical skills i.e. DVOM testing, able to identify different battery connect methods. (series, parallel, etc) Prior work with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines, preferred. Must be able to regularly travel for this position, including overnight or multi-night travel within an assigned or designated area. Must possess a current and valid driver license with a clean driving record Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $72800.00/yr. PTO after 90 days; company offers medical, dental, vision, & 401k. Yearly pay reviews Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Union City,CA.
