Van Der Hout LLP is seeking an associate with up to two years of experience as a business immigration attorney to work as part of a collaborative team representing institutional and individual clients in all aspects of business immigration.
The incumbent will:
- Provide client advisory services, including evaluating eligibility for immigration benefits and assessing risk.
- Supervise legal assistants to prepare and file NIV and IV petitions.
- Manage a foreign national population, including tracking deadlines, developing and implementing legal strategies, and providing ongoing advisory services in addition to preparing petition filings.
- Prepare high-quality and accurate legal work for a high-volume caseload, following legal best practices.
- Provide individualized and nuanced legal services to clients.
This position requires a J.D. and bar admission to practice in at least one U.S. state. Recent graduates pending bar admission will also be considered.
Business immigration experience preferred.
