You’ll collaborate with senior leadership, legal, finance, and external advisors to drive deal strategy, due diligence, execution, and post-close integration. Responsibilities as the Corporate Development Director (M&A):
- Deal Execution: Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including strategy, structuring, negotiation, and execution.
- Strategic Targeting: Evaluate acquisitions, divestitures, and early-stage investments aligned with business growth goals.
- Cross-Functional Oversight: Manage due diligence with legal, finance, operations, and external advisors.
- Valuation & Modeling: Oversee DCF models, precedent comps, and valuation analyses to guide decision-making.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare and present findings, recommendations, and valuation summaries to senior leadership and the board.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required (MBA strongly preferred).
- Experience: 5-10 years of end-to-end M&A transaction experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate development, with a strong preference for full deal lifecycle ownership.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling platforms.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of M&A strategy, financial analysis, deal structuring, integration planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Skills & Attributes: Strategic, analytical, and highly organized, with strong negotiation, communication, and global collaboration experience.
