Sr. Information Assurance Team Lead

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Sr. Information Assurance Team Lead to support our government customer primarily located in the National Capital Region (Washington, D.C. and/or Germantown, MD).

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the team of SMEs assigned to Information Assurance activities.
2. Provide management support, focusing on the Information System Security Officers, the Information System Security Manager, and the Authorizing Official Designated Representative resource allocation and management.
3. Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity documentation such as security plans (ISSPs), security baselines, risk assessments, and POA&Ms.
4. Ensure systems comply with Federal requirements and government baselines, in accordance with NA-IM cybersecurity policies.

Qualifications:

Education & Certifications:

• Must obtain and maintain DOE derivative classifier certifications.
• Must have or be able to obtain a professional certification such as CISM or CISSP within 6 months of hire, as listed in DoD 8140.

Skills & Experience:

• Prior experience leading cybersecurity or Information Assurance teams.
• Strong ability to document, organize, communicate, and review processes subject to federal and contractual requirements.
• Ability to support day-to-day operations supporting NNSA OCIO and Federal stakeholders.

Citizenship & Clearance:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (born or naturalized). Green Card or Visa holders are not eligible.
• Top Secret and/or Q Clearance required.
