Overview: In this role, you will drive strategic growth in the power transmission and distribution sector, focusing on securing high-value contracts, building client relationships, and exploring new market opportunities. You will be part of our Design & Consulting team, which unites architecture, engineering, and consulting professionals across industries and geographies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategy: Develop and execute business development strategies, identify new opportunities, collaborate with engineering teams, monitor industry trends, and provide sales forecasts.
- Client Engagement: Lead initiatives, build relationships with stakeholders, prepare proposals, and represent the company at industry events.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years in business development or sales within the power transmission and distribution industry
Required Skills:
- Proven track record in business development and team leadership
- Experience with utility projects, contract management, and risk mitigation
- Industry knowledge including smart grid, high-voltage equipment, and renewable energy
- Strong account management, deal closing, and sales cycle skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Industry contacts in utilities, renewables, or EPC firms
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics)
- Experience with public and private sector clients
- Strategic and problem-solving mindset
