Configuration Manager - Position Description
We have immediate hire openings for Configuration Manager to join our team supporting our Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) team in Washington, DC .

Security Clearance

Applicant must hold or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description: General Tasking Description:

Responsible for configuration management issues associated with maintaining and controlling all hardware inventory, documentation, product releases, and software configuration management.
Individuals should also work closely with the Configuration Control Board in defining and implementing procedures for releasing new products throughout their entire life cycle.
Individuals shall provide change management and product configuration management guidance.

Experience Requirements

15 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems
Experience in Navy's shipbuilding configuration management process. Required
20 years of experience in Navy shipbuilding and defense systems. Preferred
Experience in managing CM among ship platform level and systems level. Familiarity with CM within the Siemens Teamcenter environment. Preferred

Educational & Certification Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in any field.
