The IT Department is made up of collaborative professionals dedicated to delivering secure, stable, and reliable tech solutions with top-tier support. Our infrastructure is modern and evolving—combining best-in-class tools with a commitment to service excellence.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across departments, particularly within Marketing & Communications, to optimize the tools that drive engagement, advocacy, and outreach efforts. This role reports to the Director of Marketing Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic and technical support for our digital marketing platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Outreach.io)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues via phone, email, and our internal ticketing system
• Assist in testing and launching new features and system enhancements
• Partner with teams to gather requirements, implement campaigns, and refine user journeys
• Create and maintain smart audience segmentation for targeted campaigns
• Train staff on digital marketing best practices and platform capabilities
• Collaborate on landing pages and digital assets for events and key initiatives
• Stay ahead of trends in digital marketing, automation, and email deliverability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, ideally within nonprofit, advocacy, or political environments
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for email design
• Strong grasp of email design principles and marketing automation strategy
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to think strategically and align technology with organizational goals
• Clear, effective communication with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfort working in a mission-driven, advocacy-focused environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Building and optimizing marketing automation workflows
• Knowledge of Outreach.io or similar sales enablement tools
• Understanding of front-end design and development
• Experience working with outside vendors and managing project delivery timelines
