Summary
Responsible for development, deployment, and day-to-day support and administration of the ATI server (on-premises and cloud) IT infrastructure, including Active Directory domain and Office 365. Work in a proactive global team environment driving innovative solutions/architecture to positively impact the success of the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level technical analysis, support, and maintenance of server infrastructure across multiple sites to support business objectives and achieve optimum performance levels
- Perform level 3 problem resolution and administration of local and enterprise-wide production infrastructure systems
- Perform day-to-day administration, configuration, and support of Windows and Linux server environments running on VMware hypervisors.
- Perform day-to-day administration and support of Microsoft Active Directory domain and single-tenant Office 365 organization
- Install and maintain new software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, and resolve related problems
- Support and maintain end user requirements, including troubleshooting, account administration and infrastructure systems
- Maintain, monitor, and analyze system components and make recommendations regarding IT infrastructure systems and security best practices
- Contribute to the administration and support of business continuity and disaster recovery implementations
- Conduct software and hardware evaluations, provide technical analysis, and implement systems to meet the company’s IT goals
- Develop and promote standard operating procedures. Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines
- Work with a team to automate infrastructure management tasks, streamline processes and perform standard administration functions as needed
- Perform and document maintenance tasks for production systems
- Provide coaching and guidance to level 1 and 2 IT infrastructure staff
- Conduct technology implementation tasks with limited review required by higher-level technical or managerial staff
- Perform analysis of existing technology systems to ensure stability, reliability, and performance
- Participate in technology projects and provide advice and planning/design documentation for implementing infrastructure technologies
- Conduct capacity planning and upgrades to production and test systems
- Facilitate development and adoption of standards and best practices
- Coordinate and facilitate technology system changes with other IT infrastructure and applications team members utilizing change management procedures
- Take part in the overall design, implementation, support, and standards of assigned enterprise-wide infrastructure technologies and best practices
- Extremely Strong Trouble-Shooting Skills / Analytical Minded. Able to perform in-depth research to identify and solve problems
Extensive Knowledge/ Expertise in:
- Best-practices for systems and network administration related to backups, virtual server architecture, security, high-availability solutions, and monitoring procedures
- Microsoft Active Directory administration, Group Policy creation and administration
- VMware VSphere, ESXi, VCenter, High-Availability (Knowledge of other hypervisor systems and containers are a plus)
- Microsoft Windows Server 2019+, Exchange (On-premises and Office 365 Exchange Online)
- Microsoft Office 365 User, Groups, and rights-management (including Sharepoint site management)
- Linux server administration
- Multi-Factor Authentication knowledge and best-practices (Okta, Duo, etc.)
- AWS / Azure Cloud experience such as S3 storage and installing and maintaining EC2 Instances
- Backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam / Backup Exec / AWS S3 Backup
- Cybersecurity best-practices and solution implementation (including zero-trust architectures)
- MS Windows desktop and Microsoft 365 account and application support capabilities
- Task automation, programming and scripting languages (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.) are a plus
- Communication and networking technologies and protocols, including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, WLAN, etc.
Education
- BA/BS in computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

- 5+ years of experience supporting computer systems on a wide variety of platforms
