Position Overview

A leading organization is seeking a talented UI5/ABAP Developer to support and enhance its SAP S/4HANA environment through custom development and systems integration. This hybrid position requires a well-rounded technical professional who can develop scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex interfaces, and collaborate across teams to support enterprise-grade SAP operations.

This role is best suited for a hands-on developer with strong experience in ABAP, Fiori/UI5, SAP integration , and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications within the SAP S/4HANA landscape.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for all development work.
• Support system interfaces and integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems, including SAC, Ariba, and SuccessFactors .
• Debug and enhance existing interfaces, including Web services, ALE/IDOC, RFC, and proxies .
• Implement performance-optimized code using CDS Views , AMDP , and other ABAP on HANA techniques.
• Participate in SAP upgrades, patching, and full-cycle implementations.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks in high-volume custom programs and interfaces.
• Collaborate with SAP functional teams across SD, MM, FI, CO, and PP modules for integrated solution development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 and ABAP development roles.
• Proficiency in ABAP programming , with working knowledge of S/4HANA , CDS Views , AMDP , and authorization objects .
• Hands-on experience with SAP integrations , including CPI, IDOCs, RFCs, proxies, and BTP environments.
• Experience in complex SAP landscapes supporting core business processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Familiarity with SAP Native HANA development is a plus.
• UI5 certification is a bonus.
• Ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to code quality and documentation standards.
• Strong ethical judgment and respect for data confidentiality and system integrity.

Preferred Experience

• Experience across multiple SAP full lifecycle implementations , upgrades, or support projects.
• Functional exposure to SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI, CO, and PP .
• Familiarity with performance tuning and resource optimization best practices in SAP development.
