Position Title: Information Management Architect

Hire Type: Full Time Only

Job Description:

We are looking for self-motivated Information Management architects to drive innovations on technology interoperable platforms with major ETL and BI reporting tools for enterprise customers across diverse industry verticals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Architect and implement solutions in the area of enterprise data integration and management.
  2. Build new solutions and offerings in data integration and BI.
  3. Drive Proof of Concept (POC) and Proof of Technology (POT) evaluations on interoperable technology platforms.
  4. Train and mentor developers in solution development and POC/POT execution.
  5. Support presales activities for Data Management ETL-based RFPs.
  6. Support projects with technical issues and solutions.

Qualifications:

Technical: Must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise data management, including data governance, master data management, data quality, and metadata management.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing concepts, operational data stores, and data modeling.
  • Experience with major ETL and BI reporting tools, databases, data modeling, and data management.
  • Ability to develop end-to-end data management and ETL strategies/roadmaps and solution designs for BI.
  • Experience in configuring and developing real-time interfaces using CDC, XML, and MQ.
  • Experience in architecting data archival solutions (e.g., retiring applications, ongoing data archival/live archiving).
  • Proven mentoring ability at both ETL development and design levels.
  • Clear understanding of RDBMS for SMP and MPP databases.

Nice to have:

  • Understanding and experience in big data analytics.
  • Sizing, estimating, and capacity planning of ETL platforms.

Non-Technical: Must have:

  • Ability to work with technical and business stakeholders throughout engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with changing priorities and deadlines.

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with project management, SDLC processes, tools, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
