Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer

Location(s): White Plains, NY

Project Overview

Resource will be working on multiple HR initiatives like support open enrollment, compliance requirements, troubleshoot configuration issues, etc. Resource is expected to work very closely with the HR department. Maintain tracker for requests. Have periodic meetings with the business to exchange status and priorities. Resource also works closely with the SAP Portfolio manager to follow SAP development standards.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

  • Prepare technical specifications, unit test plans, implementation plans, and user training.
  • Configure HR module as per business requirements.
  • Design and develop SAP ABAP objects (reports, forms, enhancements) to meet RICEFW requirements.
  • Follow Object-Oriented Programming practices.
  • Follow CTS process.

Skills

  • Proficiency in HR ABAP programming.
  • Familiarity with infotypes.
  • Experience with RICEF objects.
  • At least 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP focusing on HR – workflows, reports, dialog programming, interfaces, smart forms, scripts, Adobe forms, WebDynpro, enhancement framework.
  • Good to have SAP HR functional/configuration knowledge.
  • Experience with payroll schema and configuration.
  • Perform end-to-end development activities—building prototypes, effort estimation, writing technical designs, development, unit testing, code review, production support, UAT/system/integration testing support, deployment.
  • Expertise in ABAP debugging with the ability to analyze existing processes/programs and provide innovative solutions.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT.
