About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our Technology Research and Innovation team . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge AI/ML models and Generative AI solutions to solve complex business challenges. This role requires expertise in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Cloud Computing (AWS), and MLOps , with a strong focus on LLM fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic Workflows .

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement AI solutions such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Agentic Workflows using LLMs and prompt engineering .
2. Evaluate Large Language Models (LLMs) for performance, optimization, and business alignment.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise systems .
4. Design, develop, and deploy ML models and algorithms for business use cases.
5. Implement MLOps best practices to ensure model scalability, monitoring, and optimization.
6. Optimize models for performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
7. Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data for ML training.
8. Develop and manage data pipelines to ensure seamless data integration.
9. Implement feature engineering and data augmentation techniques .
10. Build and deploy scalable APIs using FastAPI, Apache, Gunicorn for model inferencing.
11. Deploy AI/ML solutions on AWS (preferred), Snowflake, or other cloud platforms .
12. Stay updated with cutting-edge AI/ML advancements and implement innovative solutions.
13. Research and explore new AI methodologies, Generative AI techniques, and model optimization strategies .
14. Work on Proof-of-Concept (PoC) AI projects for future implementation.
15. Work closely with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders .
16. Present complex AI concepts in a clear, concise manner to non-technical teams.
17. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior AI/ML team members.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
2. 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science .
3. Expertise in Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic Workflows, and LLM fine-tuning .
4. Experience in cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure, GCP) for AI model deployment.
5. Proficiency in SQL and Snowflake for data extraction and analysis.
6. Experience in MLOps for model deployment, versioning, and monitoring.
7. Hands-on experience in FastAPI, Apache, Gunicorn for API development.
8. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods .
9. Financial services industry experience is a must .
10. Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills .

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience in data visualization tools (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau).
2. Prior experience in building asynchronous Python APIs .
3. Knowledge of AI ethics, model interpretability, and responsible AI .
