Job Title: Insider Threat Program Analyst

Join MELE Associates, Inc. to support a newly established program at NNSA focused on developing, coordinating, and enhancing insider threat policies, practices, and activities at NNSA headquarters and sites. This position is contingent on contract award.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support meetings through agenda design, facilitation, note-taking, and summarization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to develop and implement policies protecting NNSA assets.
  • Create, maintain, and support standard operating procedures for the insider threat program.
  • Develop program guidelines and requirements for policy implementation.
  • Design and support data collection efforts to assess program effectiveness.
  • Track compliance with relevant executive orders and policies.
  • Generate reports and deliver presentations to senior decision-makers.
  • Conduct research on best practices and emerging technologies in insider threat mitigation.
  • Identify information gaps and develop strategies for program improvement.
  • Create awareness materials and serve as liaison with security teams.
  • Develop exercises and update workflows to ensure alignment with agency needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active DOE Q or TS/SCI clearance
  • At least 10 years of experience in related fields or a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience
  • Five years supporting federal insider threat programs
  • Relevant certifications such as CCITP, ITPM, or equivalent
  • Strong integrity, communication, and policy development skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • Additional experience in government policy support, investigations, and training

Location and Compensation

This full-time onsite position is based in Washington, DC, contingent on contract award. Salary is competitive and based on experience and market data.
