A long-standing REIT in Boston is actively seeking an Accounting Manager for a direct hire. The Accounting Manager will have responsibilities within property accounting, joint venture accounting, acquisitions, and dispositions.
This will be a hybrid position working 3x per week onsite in Boston.
Salary for this role is up to $140k plus bonus.
Responsibilities

Review 3rd party property accounting for consistency and accuracy
Quarterly and annual budgeting
Financial reporting including audited financial statements
Cash management including capital calls and distributions
Work with the acquisitions teams to review diligence materials
Work with disposition team to respond to buyer diligence requests

Qualifications

5+ years property accounting experience
GAAP, tax accounting, IFRS experience
Experience with funds/joint ventures
Understanding of waterfall calculations
Bachelors degree in an accounting/business related discipline
