Corporate Accounting Manager – Hedge Fund / Investment Management
About The Role
A leading firm in the hedge fund, private equity, and venture capital industry is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to join its Finance team. This role will oversee the monthly close process, financial and regulatory reporting, and partner closely with senior leadership, FP&A, and Tax teams on strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly close and ensure accurate financial/regulatory reporting
• Analyze results and provide recommendations to leadership
• Collaborate with FP&A on projections and scenario analysis
• Partner with Tax on transfer pricing, provisions, and payments
• Maintain accounting policies, controls, and compliance
• Review journal entries, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and analyze variances
• Prepare management reporting packages and consolidate multiple entities
• Lead process improvement and technology initiatives
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting; CPA required
• 8–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and general ledger systems
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities
