Base pay range

$120,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Our client in Stamford, CT is seeking an Interim Corporate Accounting Manager to join their team due to significant growth over recent months. This opportunity is with a reputable, global organization known for hiring top accounting and finance professionals. This role is perfect for a "go-getter" seeking professional challenge and growth under experienced management leadership.
The Corporate Accounting Team handles accounting matters across multiple business entities, including monthly close, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
What You'll Do

• Oversee monthly close processes and lead journal entry reviews, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Analyze business results and provide strategic recommendations to senior management, including projections and scenario planning
• Collaborate with Tax team on provisions, estimated payments, and initiatives impacting book and tax reporting
• Maintain and enhance internal financial controls, policies, and procedures while ensuring effective risk management
• Develop monthly reporting packages and manage multi-entity consolidations for regulatory and management reporting
• Drive process improvements and technology solutions to enhance team efficiency
• Foster cross-departmental relationships and serve as Finance liaison
  

• Bachelor's degree in accounting with 6-8 years of relevant experience
• Public accounting background and CPA preferred
• Experience with internal financial controls and general ledger systems
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and solve complex problems
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to ethical standards
