Job Overview:
A leading international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Trademark & Copyright Practice Group . This full-time, in-office position is ideal for attorneys with 5 or more years of experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution, TTAB proceedings, global anti-counterfeiting enforcement, and strategic intellectual property planning. The role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients on sophisticated matters in a collaborative legal environment.

Location Options:

Responsibilities:

  • Manage U.S. and international trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy
  • Handle opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB
  • Advise clients on global anti-counterfeiting and enforcement strategies
  • Provide counsel on copyright protection, registration, and infringement matters
  • Draft and negotiate trademark and copyright-related agreements
  • Support due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and licensing transactions
  • Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, transactional, and regulatory teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of focused experience in trademark and copyright law
  • Significant experience with TTAB litigation and global brand enforcement
  • Ability to lead IP strategy across diverse industries
  • High degree of independence in managing complex legal matters

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Eligible for admission in the jurisdiction of the office

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management
