Job Overview:
A leading international law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Associate Attorney to join its nationally recognized Trademark & Copyright Practice Group . This full-time, in-office position is ideal for attorneys with 5 or more years of experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution, TTAB proceedings, global anti-counterfeiting enforcement, and strategic intellectual property planning. The role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients on sophisticated matters in a collaborative legal environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage U.S. and international trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy
- Handle opposition and cancellation proceedings before the TTAB
- Advise clients on global anti-counterfeiting and enforcement strategies
- Provide counsel on copyright protection, registration, and infringement matters
- Draft and negotiate trademark and copyright-related agreements
- Support due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and licensing transactions
- Collaborate with attorneys across litigation, transactional, and regulatory teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of focused experience in trademark and copyright law
- Significant experience with TTAB litigation and global brand enforcement
- Ability to lead IP strategy across diverse industries
- High degree of independence in managing complex legal matters
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
- Strong academic credentials required
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Eligible for admission in the jurisdiction of the office
Skills:
- Exceptional legal writing and communication skills
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management
- Ability to work effectively with global clients and teams
- Familiarity with IP docketing software and legal tech platforms preferred
