Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Manager to join our growing franchise organization. In this role, you will oversee daily accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and internal policies. You will play a key role in supporting our franchise structure by managing general ledger activity, cash flow forecasting, and compliance reporting, while also leading and mentoring a team of accounting staff. This position requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting best practices, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders across a franchise network.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the review and preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and assist with corporate general ledger (GL) activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and internal corporate allocations.
• Analyze and reconcile accounts payable and receivable; prepare supporting schedules and journal entries as part of the month-end close.
• Manage weekly cash flow forecasting and ensure adequate liquidity to meet operational needs.
• Prepare or review lender compliance reports and regulatory filings as required.
• Supervise and support accounting staff in the execution of daily and monthly transaction processing.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
• Review bank and credit card reconciliations for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and review analytical reports, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
• Identify opportunities for process and system improvements; support implementation initiatives.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related duties or special projects as assigned.
  
  

Job Skills And Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of combined public/private accounting experience.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting and ERP systems is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team-building ability; capable of managing and mentoring staff.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  
  

Compensation + Benefits:

• Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 plus year end discretionary bonus
• Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, 401K, paid time off, and holidays.
