We play into the growing market trends of active lifestyles and, health and wellness. We are hiring a Sr Analyst, Strategic Insights to join our Marketing team! As the Senior Analyst, Strategic Insights you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will help elevate our analytical capabilities while managing high-impact projects and external partnerships.
Responsibilities Include
- Serve as the subject matter expert for point-of-sale (POS) and shopper data analytics (e.g., Nielsen, Circana/IRI, SPINS, retail panel data), connecting syndicated insights to business implications.
- Build and manage dashboards, reporting systems, and interpretations of data trends to provide business strategy recommendations.
- Develop predictive models that estimate/forecast future category direction to inform go-to-market strategies.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to provide actionable insights.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and resources to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of research & data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis.
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 3 years of expertise focused on POS and syndicated retail data.
- Strong working knowledge of syndicated data platforms (NielsenIQ, Circana/IRI, SPINS, etc.).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software (e.g. Excel, Tableau, syndicated data tools, PowerBI).
- Demonstrated ability to develop data-based, forward-looking category & behavioral trends that contribute to strategy.
