Deputy Chief Financial Officer / Divisional CFO

Reporting to: Chief Financial Officer

Succession Plan: Intended to progress into the CFO role within 4–5 years

The Opportunity

A fast-growing, vertically integrated real estate investment platform is seeking a Deputy CFO to lead financial oversight across its development & construction, and property management businesses.

This role offers a unique runway to the CFO position, supporting enterprise-wide financial management while building scalable systems, processes, and teams. The successful candidate will bring strong accounting, reporting, and FP&A experience in complex real estate environments and have the ability to lead across both strategic and operational dimensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial operations across multiple business verticals, including lending, development, and property operations
• Own consolidated financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across the enterprise
• Strengthen internal controls, accounting accuracy, and system integration
• Collaborate closely with the CFO and executive team to drive financial discipline and strategic planning
• Oversee team development and succession planning within the finance function
• Support capital deployment decisions, investor reporting, and audit readiness

Candidate Profile

• Around 15 years of finance and accounting leadership, with experience across real estate, lending, or construction preferred
• CPA or equivalent credential strongly preferred; MBA a plus
• Proven ability to scale financial operations across multiple entities or business units
• Deep experience in FP&A, GAAP accounting, and reporting frameworks
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional partnership capabilities
• Ambitious, execution-focused, and aligned with long-term leadership growth

Compensation: $300,000 base + up to 100% performance bonus & full suite of corporate benefits.
