Duties:
- Advise clients on the formation and investments in private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
- Assist with secondary transactions and structuring carry vehicles.
- Provide counsel on structuring separately managed accounts.
- Draft and review investment-related documents.
- Collaborate with clients and senior attorneys to design strategic legal solutions.
- Manage client relationships and provide timely updates.
- Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and presentations.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment funds law.
- Strong background in the formation and investment of private equity, real estate, venture capital, and hedge funds.
- Experience with secondary transactions, structuring separately managed accounts, and structuring carry vehicles is preferred.
- Previous experience in an AmLaw 100 firm is preferred.
- Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Active bar membership in the jurisdiction of employment.
