Position Summary
The Brand Experience and Partnerships team creates innovative, participatory experiences (IRL, virtual/digital, partnerships) to positively shift perception of the Walmart brand. Our mission is to add modern, engaging dimensions to our brand promise for the next generation of customers.
What you'll do
As the Senior Manager of Experiential Marketing (IRL Experiences), you will lead experiential marketing strategy, planning, and execution for Walmart initiatives, focusing on brand/culture and category-specific experiences. You will manage multiple programs from start to finish, collaborating with agencies and stakeholders across Creative, Category Marketing, and Merchant teams. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with teams such as Media, Influencer, Creative, Site, Social, and Paid Media.
The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with a proven track record in building high-quality, scalable consumer experiences. You should have experience managing stakeholders and leading teams. Reporting to the Group Director, Brand Experiences and Partnerships, you will support the Senior Manager, Experiential Lead.
This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role based in Hoboken, NJ, requiring on-site work five days a week. You will oversee experiences that impact brand and business growth and cultural relevance.
What you'll do
- Lead specific experiential programs as the strategic day-to-day liaison with Marketing and Merchant teams.
- Support the overall Walmart Experiential strategy and approach.
- Provide thought leadership to ensure programs align with broader marketing goals.
- Use data and insights to develop impactful marketing plans across channels.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, communicating business objectives and performance.
- Own program performance and optimize tactics to meet goals.
- Manage and develop a team of marketers, fostering a culture of innovation.
- Continuously seek new opportunities to grow Walmart's experiential white space.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 8+ years in marketing, with at least 3 years in experiential marketing.
- 2+ years supervisory or cross-functional project leadership experience.
