Position Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) is a key member of Per Scholas' national leadership team, responsible for shaping and executing a comprehensive marketing, communications, and brand strategy that supports organizational growth, employer partnerships, learner engagement, and philanthropic investment. This leader will elevate Per Scholas' national profile, grow brand visibility, and drive measurable results in support of our mission.
The CMO will oversee a cross-functional team that manages digital marketing, content strategy, media relations, brand integrity, executive visibility, internal communications and national and local marketing campaigns. The CMO will be a strategic advisor to the CEO and a collaborative partner across Development, Admissions, Program, and Innovation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and steward a bold, cohesive brand strategy that reflects Per Scholas' mission and future vision.
- Boost brand recognition and messaging to support scaling efforts and deepen emotional connection with target audiences.
- Ensure brand consistency across all platforms, materials, and stakeholder experiences at the national and local market levels.
