Job Title: Director of Aftermarket Sales

Location: Corporate Position

Reports To: Vice President of Service & Operations

Job Summary:

The Director of Aftermarket Sales will lead and manage the sales strategy and operations focused on driving revenue growth for boiler and pump products directly to end users across the industrial, commercial, HVAC, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, etc. This role requires a strategic leader with deep industry knowledge, strong sales expertise, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The Director will develop and execute sales plans, collaborate with a team of sales professionals, and ensure alignment with company goals for market share and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive boiler and pump service sales to end users, meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets.
  • Development of sales plan, recapture account plan, and target account plan.
  • Collaboration with Operation Managers to lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring accountability for individual and team goals.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key end-user accounts, including facility managers, engineers, and procurement teams in target industries.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and technical teams to align product offerings with customer needs and market trends.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and product enhancements.
  • Forecast sales performance, monitor KPIs, and provide regular reports to senior leadership on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with end users to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive positioning.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies in all sales activities.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field and/or related applicable experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the boiler, pump, or related industrial equipment industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth with end-user customers.
  • Strong understanding of boiler and pump technologies, applications, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a sales team.
  • Strategic thinker with analytical skills to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales forecasting tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Knowledge of industrial, commercial industries, e.g., HVAC, manufacturing, energy and their procurement processes is a plus.
