The Territory Manager for our ENT side of the business is responsible for selling and promoting PENTAX Medical products akin to the division, calling on Otolaryngology, Head & Neck Cancer, General ENT and beyond. This position drives revenue growth by developing new accounts and pushing territory expansion selling endoscopes, advanced imaging and PHI capture modules with server/EMR integration.
Responsibilities of Medical Device Sales - Territory Manager (New England)
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota
- Increase sales and market-share
- Occasional overnight travel throughout the multi-state region
- Install new equipment and educate end-users in all aspects of the functions to operate device(s) just short of interpretation
- Develop relationships with key purchasing decision-makers
- Lead and coordinate presentations and demos for all customers including longtime KOLs
- Develop innovative business proposals based upon customer’s needs and goals analysis
- Review preferred pricing contracts with other manufacturers for clinic customers
- Coordinate equipment and personnel for yearly annual sales conference
- Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
- Pursue training and development opportunities
- Respond promptly to customer needs; Solicit customer feedback to improve service; Respond to requests for service and assistance; Meet commitments
- Other duties as assigned
- Must have strong, proven sales background in the medical/hospital space. Medical device experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant selling experience
- Comfortable selling in a clinical environment
- Knowledge of the medical device industry and familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Effective and clear communication skills
- Proven success in managing a sales territory and selling to all levels of an organization
- Ability to travel regularly
