The Extremities & Trauma Senior Sales Leader primarily assists in sales and provides technical support for Arthrex Extremities & Trauma products, including specialty plates, screws, intramedullary nailing, external fixation, biologics, and soft tissue repair products. This role involves acting as the technical expert, educating customers, supporting employee development, and consulting with surgeons in the operating room. The leader will collaborate with Arthrex Corporate Sales Managers to drive sales initiatives and identify opportunities within the territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; develop sales strategies.
  • Communicate product updates and educational programs to current and new customers.
  • Implement sales and marketing plans to position the organization competitively.
  • Create and submit team quotas to sales leadership.
  • Establish relationships with residency and fellowship programs to promote product adoption and awareness.
  • Support product managers in establishing quotas.
  • Devise plans and meetings to ensure team accountability.
  • Identify prospects' needs and respond appropriately.
  • Cross-sell products and manage new product introductions.
  • Receive coaching and transfer knowledge to team members.
  • Lead by example, analyze sales performance, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
  • Manage responsibilities under strict deadlines with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds regularly.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of distal extremities and/or trauma experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to relate to customers within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.
  • Comfort in open operating room environments.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and OR protocols.
  • Ability to learn technical information related to surgery.
  • Prior sales experience is a plus.
