Job Overview
Retail Experts Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bilingual Commercial Construction Superintendent (Spanish/English) Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site activities across our commercial construction projects in the New York City area. This individual will be responsible for coordinating trades, maintaining site safety, ensuring schedule adherence, and reporting project progress to the Project Manager. If you have 5+ years of on-site supervision experience and are looking to take ownership of field operations in a dynamic construction environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations at assigned job sites across NYC.
  • Monitor and coordinate subcontractors and trades for timely and safe task completion.
  • Coordinate meetings between subcontractors, vendors, and building managers.
  • Conduct routine site inspections and safety walks.
  • Maintain code (DOB, FDNY, and DOT) and construction documentation on site
  • Maintain accurate daily field reports, logs, and photo documentation.
  • Oversee material deliveries and ensure proper storage and logistics on site.
  • Enforce OSHA and NYC construction safety regulations.
  • Serve as the primary on-site liaison with Project Managers and trade partners.
  • Hold daily physical or remote meetings with project managers.
  • Document any change orders to the original plan and communicate these changes to stakeholders.
  • Support scheduling and execution of punch list items and closeout procedures.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Supervisor or Construction Superintendent in a commercial setting.
  • Proven ability to read construction documents and manage field crews.
  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • OSHA 30-hour certification (required).
  • NYC SST card (required).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required
