Job Overview
Gibian LLC is seeking a driven and experienced Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent to join our team and lead the successful execution of commercial construction projects across PA, NJ, NY, and MD. This role is ideal for a skilled leader who thrives on autonomy, is passionate about managing interior fit-outs, and is committed to excellence in the field. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all jobsite operations including subcontractor coordination, deliveries, inspections, and safety compliance
• Supervise interior fit-out projects and coordinate trades to meet project milestones and deadlines
• Travel to project locations (PA, NJ, NY, MD) with overnight stays as needed (typically Monday-Thursday)
• Interpret and implement construction drawings and blueprints with accuracy
• Conduct regular on-site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and adherence to schedules
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
• Work flexible hours including second/third shifts or weekends as project needs dictate
• Use computer software for scheduling, reporting, and communication
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction as a superintendent in any of the 5 boroughs of NYC
• Must be comfortable staying at a hotel Monday-Thursday and driving to jobs during the week (1-4 hours driving distance)
• Experience in commercial interior fit-outs; ground-up experience is a plus
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using job site software
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently

Work Schedule
