Electronics Lead Engineer – Laser & Electro-Optics Systems

We are looking for a Lead Electronics Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team focused on developing advanced laser and electro-optics systems. In this role, you will design and integrate high-voltage power electronics, control modules, and safety systems — bringing complex ideas from lab prototypes to field-ready deployments.

Your Role:

• Lead the design and integration of laser drivers, high-voltage power supplies, thermal controllers, and safety interlocks
• Prototype and test control systems with integrated sensors, diagnostics, and safety features
• Perform PCB design, simulation, layout reviews, and troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC standards and signal integrity best practices
• Collaborate with optics, software, mechanical, and systems teams to meet technical and operational goals
• Maintain accurate documentation (design files, test reports, validation data) aligned with engineering and configuration standards

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in power electronics and control systems (laser or electro-optics preferred)
• Proficiency in PCB tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD) and circuit simulation (e.g., PSpice, LTSpice)
• Familiar with embedded systems, analog/digital circuits, and thermal management
• Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance, laser safety, and rapid prototyping
• Strong debugging, documentation, and cross-disciplinary collaboration skills
