We seek a High Voltage SCADA Engineer/Inspector/Integrator who thrives in a challenging, rewarding, and process-oriented environment while supporting the Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) G-6 mission . The Marine Corps Installations Command supports over 200 Information Environments that reside in over 26 locations, over 250 training areas and ranges, and over 14000 facilities worldwide. This covers both Marine Corps Enterprise Information Services and Installation-unique Information Services to users and business systems such as Emergency Management, Base Operations, Airfield Operations, Fire/Police/Medical Dispatch and Industrial Controls. MCICOM G-6 supports the following Installations' Functional Areas: Voice Services, Data Services, Audio/Video Services, and Maintenance Services.

This position is located in Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

• Technically skilled and detail-oriented Substation SCADA Engineer to support the design, integration, and maintenance of SCADA systems within high-voltage substations.
• Ensure real-time monitoring, control, and automation of substation operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with SCADA protocols, RTU configuration, and substation communication networks.
• Design and implement SCADA systems for transmission and distribution substations, including RTU programming, HMI development, and communication setup.
• Configure and maintain data acquisition systems, ensuring accurate and reliable telemetry.
• Collaborate with protection and control engineers to integrate SCADA with relay systems and automation schemes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SCADA-related issues in field and office environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation including wiring diagrams, network layouts, and configuration files.
• Ensure compliance with applicable utility-specific standards (i.e. NERC CIP, IEEE).
• Support commissioning and testing of SCADA systems during substation construction and upgrades.

Education and Experience:

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field plus 10 years of relevant Marine Corps experience OR;
• MA/MS degree in a relevant field plus 5 years of relevant Marine Corps experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Knowledge of the Risk Management Framework - NIST-800-53
