Our Federal Group is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to support our expanding work in DOE and DOD production and nuclear facilities. The successful candidate will:
- Have experience in project execution, from initial process studies and supporting project cost estimates to detailed design and EPC project execution.
- Understand the steps of project development and the level of detail required at each stage.
- Independently develop PFDs, P&IDs, equipment sizing and specifications, and process data and specifications for instruments.
- Demonstrate leadership at the discipline level on a multidiscipline project team.
- Develop process models using software like Aspen, Hysys, ChemCAD, or custom models in Excel.
- Support business development through engineering estimates and proposal development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited program.
- At least 7 years of related experience (a master's degree can substitute for one year of experience).
- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred: previous consulting experience and Professional Engineer license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoE or DoD Security Clearance.
- Capable of solving complex problems with innovative approaches.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to support projects.
Compensation
$155,000.00 - $225,000.00 annually, based on factors such as education, experience, and location. Compensation includes base salary and potential year-end bonuses.
