We have an immediate need for a Human Systems Integration Engineer to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Unmanned and Small Combatants (USC) at the Washington Navy Yard, DC. This role involves designing, engineering, and implementing UxSs, including USVs and UUVs, across the U.S. Navy fleet.
Responsibilities
The Human Systems Integration Engineer will:
- Integrate human considerations into the engineering of Unmanned Systems (UxSs), focusing on physical and psychological factors to optimize mission performance and reduce costs.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis, design, and assessment of requirements across domains such as manpower, personnel, training, human factors, habitability, survivability, and environment.
Location: Washington, D.C. Pay Range: $120,000 - $155,000.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Government-related R&D, T&E, and systems acquisition programs, with at least 7 years relevant to HSI engineering.
- Top Secret Security Clearance.
- MS Degree in engineering (e.g., ME, EE, IE, CSE) or in physical sciences/engineering/mathematics with 24 semester hours in relevant areas such as mechanics, dynamics, materials, electronics.
Desired Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of professional experience.
