Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Electrical Design Engineers are core to KLA's technology. While we do not currently have an opening, we are always building our talent community and are interested in learning about your background.

KLA offers a wide range of Electrical Engineering opportunities, including:

  1. PCB Design: Producing PCB designs, schematics, and collaborating with layout engineers to fabricate printed circuit boards.
  2. Technical Skills: Familiarity with electronic blocks such as power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs. Experience with tools like OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle is desired. ADS and Hyperlynx simulation experience is a plus.
  3. System Testing: Working closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
  4. System Design: Producing electrical system designs, collaborating with mechanical engineers to meet requirements and ensure serviceability. Includes power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks, supporting hardware, networking, and cabling.
  5. Additional Skills: Familiarity with AC power distribution, programmable logic controllers, cable and fiber optic design, ladder logic, soldering.
  6. Communication: Strong communication skills and ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams are essential.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree with 0 years related experience; Master's Degree with 3 years related experience; Bachelor's Degree with 5 years related experience.

Base Pay Range: $103,000 - $175,100

Primary Location: USA-CA-Milpitas
