Compensation: $1,150 per credit course for PhD candidates, $1,050 per credit course for MS candidates.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a natural science-related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, marine science, environmental science).
Desired Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a related field.
- Prior college-level teaching experience in relevant sciences.
- Experience teaching diverse university students.
Other Qualifications:
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship or relocation support).
- Availability to work during winter break if needed.
- Background checks, training, and adherence to policies required.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle.
- Ability to teach during days, evenings, weekends, and at multiple locations on Oahu.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching (80%) — Plan and deliver courses according to syllabus.
- Planning (5%) — Develop course syllabi and learning outcomes.
- Paperwork (5%) — Maintain student records, evaluate performance, and submit grades.
- Accountability (5%) — Meet deadlines and follow directives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
