Adjuncts serve as academic professionals, delivering courses, maintaining records, addressing student concerns, and assigning grades. Compensation:

$1,150 per credit course for PhD candidates, $1,050 per credit course for MS candidates. Qualifications: Master's degree in a natural science-related field (e.g., biology, chemistry, marine science, environmental science). Desired Qualifications: Ph.D. in a related field. Prior college-level teaching experience in relevant sciences. Experience teaching diverse university students. Other Qualifications: Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship or relocation support). Availability to work during winter break if needed. Background checks, training, and adherence to policies required. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and personal vehicle. Ability to teach during days, evenings, weekends, and at multiple locations on Oahu. Key Responsibilities: Teaching (80%) — Plan and deliver courses according to syllabus. Planning (5%) — Develop course syllabi and learning outcomes. Paperwork (5%) — Maintain student records, evaluate performance, and submit grades.
