Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Informatica CDGC Consultant to join our data governance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in implementing and supporting Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) to drive data discovery, lineage, metadata management, and data governance initiatives across the organization.

We are seeking an experienced Informatica CDGC Consultant to join our data governance team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in implementing and supporting Informatica Cloud Data Governance and Catalog (CDGC) to drive data discovery, lineage, metadata management, and data governance initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and administration of Informatica CDGC solutions.
• Work with business and technical stakeholders to capture metadata requirements and define governance policies.
• Integrate CDGC with various data sources (on premise/cloud) for automated metadata ingestion.
• Develop and maintain metadata catalogs, data lineage, and data classification rules.
• Support the creation of business glossaries, data domains, and stewardship workflows.
• Ensure compliance with data governance standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide training and support to data stewards, analysts, and business users on using CDGC.
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, and governance teams to align metadata strategy with enterprise goals.
• Monitor and troubleshoot metadata ingestion and processing issues.
• Generate custom reports and dashboards related to data governance KPIs.
  

• Bachelor¿s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Overall 10+ years of experience with 3+ years of experience with Informatica tools, including at least 1 year of hands on experience with Informatica CDGC.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data cataloging concepts.
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform is a plus.
• Knowledge of data lineage, impact analysis, and data stewardship.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross functional team environment.
  

• Informatica certification (e.g., CDGC Specialist or IDMC Data Governance & Catalog).
• Experience integrating CDGC with Snowflake, Databricks, or other modern data platforms.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
