Duties
Manage all aspects of litigation, from case initiation through resolution.
Draft pleadings, legal motions, and other litigation documents.
Conduct legal research to support case strategy.
Handle discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.
Participate in site inspections, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
Represent clients in depositions, hearings, and trials.
Work collaboratively with senior attorneys and legal teams to ensure quality representation.
Maintain clear and timely communication with clients regarding case progress.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in civil litigation, preferably in insurance defense or construction defect cases.
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases independently while meeting deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
Licensed to practice law in Florida and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
Skills
Excellent research and legal writing capabilities.
Strong negotiation and courtroom advocacy skills.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective case strategies.
