- Represent clients in court and make necessary in-court appearances.
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Meet with clients, provide legal advice, and update on case status.
- Collaborate with paralegals, attorneys, and staff to manage cases efficiently.
- Attend mediation and settlement conferences to negotiate outcomes.
- Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the legal process.
- Stay updated on family law legal developments and trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in family law.
- Active California State Bar admission in good standing.
- Exceptional writing skills; writing samples required.
- Strong verbal communication skills to explain complex legal issues.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Client-focused approach with a commitment to service.
- Strong professional references.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active membership in the California State Bar.
