Duties

• Handle various family law cases, including divorce, custody, support, and property division.
• Represent clients in court and make necessary in-court appearances.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Meet with clients, provide legal advice, and update on case status.
• Collaborate with paralegals, attorneys, and staff to manage cases efficiently.
• Attend mediation and settlement conferences to negotiate outcomes.
• Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the legal process.
• Stay updated on family law legal developments and trends.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in family law.
• Active California State Bar admission in good standing.
• Exceptional writing skills; writing samples required.
• Strong verbal communication skills to explain complex legal issues.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Client-focused approach with a commitment to service.
• Strong professional references.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
