Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead the overall compensation and benefits strategy, including salary structure, incentive plans, health and welfare programs, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Conduct market analyses to evaluate and benchmark compensation and benefits packages, ensuring competitiveness and internal equity.
- Develop and manage executive compensation programs in coordination with the executive team and/or compensation committee.
- Oversee annual compensation processes, including merit increases, bonus planning, and salary reviews.
- Lead the selection, negotiation, and relationship management of benefit vendors and brokers.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation and benefits laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, ACA, ERISA).
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Finance to align compensation and benefits initiatives with budgeting, workforce planning, and talent strategies.
- Provide guidance and training to HR and business leaders on compensation philosophy, policies, and decision-making frameworks.
- Monitor trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant.
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and insights to senior leadership and the board as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- Professional certification (e.g., CCP, CEBS, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a compensation and benefits leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and HRIS platforms (ADP experience preferred).
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with sales and commission compensation structures and programs
