The College's business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; however, this exempt administrative position may require additional hours at times.
Working Conditions
Typical indoor office experience, possible outdoor exposure. Travel is required to other campus locations, educational sites, off-campus meetings, training workshops, and seminars.
Physical Duties
Most of the job is sedentary. Occasional periods of light work may be required. Light physical effort may be required to set up equipment on occasion. Occasionally lifting 10 to 20 pounds. Oral and written communication, the ability to receive, understand, and communicate verbal and written instructions, and communicate in the English language. Basic Responsibilities
The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a key member of the President's staff and a strategic partner in advancing the college's mission, vision, and goals. Reporting directly to the President, the CIO provides innovative and visionary leadership for the college's IT strategy and operations, ensuring effective and secure technology services that support academic excellence, student success, and institutional efficiency.
As a senior leader, the CIO fosters a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement. The CIO works closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to develop and implement a comprehensive, forward-thinking IT strategic plan aligned with the college's strategic priorities.
The CIO oversees all aspects of the college's IT infrastructure, including instructional technology, learning systems, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and user services.
