Our client, a leading Midwest construction company, is seeking an experienced Chief Information Officer to join their executive team. Job Scope/Outline In this pivotal role reporting to the CFO, you'll shape and implement our client's technology strategy, driving innovation and operational excellence. You'll lead their IT department, collaborating with C-level executives to leverage technology for business growth and process improvement in the construction industry. Duties Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business goals Lead selection and implementation of innovative technology solutions Ensure security, integrity, and availability of IT systems and data Manage IT department budget and resources Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to construction Develop and maintain key technology vendor relationships Ensure compliance with IT regulations and industry standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field 10+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, especially in construction Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills Proven ability to develop and implement strategic IT initiatives Experience in managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and complex projects Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Desired Qualifications MBA or other advanced degree Experience in the construction industry Knowledge of IT security best practices and regulatory compliance Track record of successful digital transformation initiatives Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools Our client offers the opportunity to drive technological advancement in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
