Position Title: Welder, Class APosition Summary:Adecco has partnered with a leading manufacturing company to find a skilled Welder, Class A. This role involves performing complex MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welding on both steel and aluminum components in roughly equal amounts. The ideal candidate will have experience with both MIG and TIG welding, be proficient in reading blueprints, working within tight tolerances, and using measuring tools. Experience with robotic welding and/or programming is a plus and may warrant wage adjustment. The welder will set up and secure parts using fixtures and clamps, ensuring high quality and safety standards are met. Essential Job Functions:Perform MIG and TIG welding operations safely and responsibly on steel and aluminum components.Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders to ensure precision welding within specified tolerances.Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and quality standards.Set up parts on fixtures, attaching jigs, clamps, and other tooling to hold parts in place during welding.Maintain strict quality control throughout the welding process.Follow all quality policies, safety regulations, and production instructions.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all completed parts.Keep work area and equipment clean and safe.Contribute to team efforts by taking on additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience:Required: High School diploma or equivalent.Preferred: Technical welding training or certification.Required: Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding.Preferred: Minimum 2 years of welding experience, including some blueprint reading and use of measuring tools.Bonus: Experience with robotic welding and/or programming is highly desirable and may influence compensation. Qualifications:Ability to interpret blueprints, production orders, and shop drawings.Skilled in MIG and TIG welding techniques for both steel and aluminum.Knowledge of welding tools, equipment, and measuring devices.Strong attention to detail and quality.Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements:Regularly communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Frequently stand, sit, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, and reach.Perform grasping, fingering, and feeling tasks.Occasionally perform repetitive motions.Push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs. Work Environment:Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and loud noise typical of a manufacturing setting.Full-time, non-exempt position.
